Meet our team
Our facilitators have years of experience, with a focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Kari (MPH)
With a background in health sciences and psychology, Kari has been working in the health and wellness space for 13 years. Initially research focused, she soon after founded companies within the health space in Asia, Europe, and North America. Due to her inter-disciplinary background within health, she focuses on the bio-psycho-social model of health, taking a very holistic perspective to healing.

Working with her "head" and her "hands" for many years, she balances the addition of being able to work with her "heart" through this work. Fusing her lived experiences, intuition, and empathy with knowledge of the body and mind as a whole, Kari focuses on somatic practices, the nervous system, and emotions within the body.
Kari has spent time in Dharamsala where she attended HH The Dalai Lama's Teachings. She has also received lineage teachings based on Mahamudra & Dzogchen traditions. Her lifetime experience in Hindu and Buddhist philosophies and practices allows her to integrate spiritual experiences of consciousness within a grounded real-world approach, bringing together science and spirituality.
Julia (M.Sc. Psych.)
Julia is a psychologist and systemic counsellor. Her intuition, empathy and sensitivity allow her to deeply connect and see her clients with all their suffering, but also all their potential. With many years of experience in 1:1 and group therapy, Julia will help you not only understand your limiting beliefs and patterns, but also guide you towards meaningful and lasting change. Julia’s approach is trauma-informed and holistic, always looking at the interplay of body, mind and soul.
Together with Kari, she has developed the therapeutic model behind the transformative therapy offered at Lucid's retreats, which is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Before finding her true calling and founding Lucid Retreats, Julia had a successful career in management consulting, founded a mental health startup, and lived and worked all over the world. She also continues to offer online coaching and therapy.
Egle (Somatic Therapist)
Egle is a Transformative bodywork practitioner and somatic coach, leading 1:1 sessions and group workshops. In her work, she fuses verbal counselling together with different techniques of touch and breath in order to raise the awareness of the body, expand and open one’s perception and balance the body-mind connection. Her approach is rooted in understanding that the emotional, mental, psychological and physical aspects of us are interconnected, and the body is an entry point, a gateway that helps to access and process our emotions, understand our thoughts and connect to our needs and true potential. It is a trauma informed work, that enables the clients to understand their limiting patterns and coping mechanisms, release the tensions on all levels and welcome the transformation in a safe and held environment.
Before finding her true path and passion in somatic work, Egle was managing and coordinating social and cultural projects throughout Europe, worked in UNESCO Dakar and ran international programs on artistic, environmental and community building topics. Coming from an academic background with MA in Philosophy and Advanced MA in Cultures and Development, she however was always passionate about holistic healing, alternative medicine, psychology and yoga. Somatic coaching provided the space to link and put in action many of her broad interests, knowledge and skills.
